New Zealand Cricket is pleased to announce the Official appointments for this summer's upcoming national one-day finals in the women's Hallyburton Johnstone Shield and the men's Ford Trophy.
The finals of the respective one-day championships - both hotly contested competitions this season - are all being held at Dunedin's University of Otago Oval this year, where three big matches in three days will play out to determine which teams lift the trophies for 2024/25.
The Finals of both the women's and men's one-day championships will also be livestreamed, with a multi-camera stream and commentary, all free to watch on NZC YouTube and on the NZC app via the livescoring platform.
NZC congratulates the teams that have secured a spot in this year's deciders, and is thrilled to congratulate the following officials on their appointments for those big matches.
Umpire Wayne Knights will be standing in The Ford Trophy Grand Final fresh off his 100th List A appointment in the last regular round of the competition, between the Central Stags and Wellington Firebirds in New Plymouth.
