WHITE FERNS return for Hallyburton Johnstone Shield Final

Wil it be top qualifier Wellington Blaze or Dream11 Super Smash victors the Canterbury Magicians who take home the women's national one-day title in Queenstown this Saturday?

Both squads have been turbo-boosted with the return of (most of) their WHITE FERNS following the ICC T20 World Cup.

One of the most feared pace bowlers in world cricket, pace bowler Lea Tahuhu come back to join wife Amy Satterthwaite in the Magicians squad as the Cantabrians get ready for a no doubt emotional last appearance from their long-serving left-handed star.

WHITE FERNS Maddy Green, Jess Kerr (above) and young Georgia Plimmer (below) meanwhile pour back in for the Blaze, who will not have Sophie Devine or Melie Kerr at their disposal due to the impending Women's IPL - the inaural women's T20 league in India starting tomorrow.

There are still plenty of familiar and well-performed names without the pair in Blaze's squad, with 13 named for Queenstown under captain Leigh Kasperek.

Tahuhu will be playing her 177th List A one-dayer in arid Central Otago with 201 one-day wickets to her name - 85 of those for the Magicians from 79 appearances.
