White Ferns level series

Aimee Mason's maiden ODI century helped the White Ferns to a 35-run victory over Australia in Darwin to level the Rose Bowl Series after two matches.

All-rounder Mason backed up her career-best 102 with three wickets for just 15 runs as the New Zealanders defended their total of 209.

Topping the order, the State Central Hinds player put on 63 with Sara McGlashan (30) before the Southern Stars attack - including 16-year-old Ellyse Perry - broke through.

The Kiwis fell from 178 for four to 209 all out, but Mason and Sarah Tsukigawa (3/25) instigated an Australian collapse, wrapping up the home team's innings for 174 in the 46th over.

The third one-day international in the Rose Bowl Series will be played on Wednesday.
