New Zealand Under-19 levelled the ODI series against India with a thrilling one-wicket win at Lincoln.

A dramatic final over saw tailenders Trent Boult (seven not out) and Tim Muir (16no) strike 23 to claim victory, with Boult hitting his first-ever six for a final-ball victory.

Tanmay Srivastava top scored for the tourists with 57 as they posted 57, having won the toss and electing to bat.

Tim Southee took four for 29 off seven overs as India was removed in 37 overs.

VY Mahesh bettered the State Northern Knights’ haul with four for 27, as the Kiwis slumped to 58 for four.

However, a half-century stand by Corey Anderson (34) and Bradley Cachopa (24) put the hosts back in the game, with the tailenders wrapping up a fine win.
