Tigers seal win

Bangladesh has beaten Kenya by six wickets with almost 20 overs to spare in the first limited-overs match of the series at Gymkhana Club Ground in Nairobi.

Chasing a meagre total of 169, Bangladesh was never troubled as Mohammad Ashraful and Farhad Reza steered their side home.

Both batsmen remained unbeaten at the end, Ashraful smacking 67 off just 43 balls, with Reza chiming in with 34 from 35 deliveries.

Earlier, Kenya could only manage 168 from 49.1 overs, with Steve Tikolo the chief run scorer with 47 from 48 balls.

Mashrafe Mortaza and Abdur Razzak were the main wicket takers for Bangladesh, each claiming three wickets.
