The Central Stags set up a rematch of last season's HRV Cup title-match today when they bludgeoned their way into Sunday's final against the Auckland Aces.
The Stags were dominant in New Plymouth against the Aces: the team they beat in last year's final to claim the inaugural HRV Cup title.
Auckland Cricket will host the final at Colin Maiden Park at 2.00pm Sunday.
"The HRV Cup has been gathering momentum since its early December start and Auckland Cricket has done a great job in attracting crowds to support the Aces in their march to the final," said NZC Domestic Cricket Manager, Alison Beck.
"Now with the Aces playing at home, in the final, and with both teams welcoming back their BLACKCAPS, we are expecting a really strong crowd.
"Last year's final at Pukekura Park sold out in advance of the match and we are encouraging fans of the Auckland Aces to buy early to avoid disappointment," she said.
Tickets for Sunday's final are now available for pre-purchase through Ticketek.
