On Friday 2nd September NZC staff travelled North to Te Horo School in Pipiwai to deliver Smash Play Junior – Tamariki in collaboration with Northland Cricket. Te Horo School has a keen interest in cricket after taking part in the Mace Tour in 2021 and connecting with NZC staff following the tour.
Joining NZC and Northland Cricket staff on the day were NZC Director Diana Puketapu and NZC President Debbie Hockley who took part in delivering games to tamariki.
Tamariki got the opportunity to participate in a variety of skills and games throughout the action packed 1.5 hours before ending with some fun-filled backyard cricket.
