Rankings boost for BLACKCAPS

The BLACKCAPS can maintain a strong grip on third place in the ICC ODI Championship with progress in the ICC World Cup.

The New Zealanders are five points clear of the pack trailing Australia and South Africa after an unbeaten start to their Caribbean campaign.

The world champions regained top spot from South Africa this week, but missed the April 1 payout for the year-end table toppers, which went to Graeme Smith's side.

Australia's victory over England in Antigua, coupled with Bangladesh’s win over South Africa, reversed the leading positions.
