Plunket Shield session times — round seven
Monday 6 March marks the introduction of the pink ball to New Zealand first-class cricket, Plunket Shield being played under floodlights in the final session.
All three free entry matches in this round begin at 2.30pm, the advent of floodlit cricket also seeing Wellington's Westpac Stadium christened as New Zealand's newest first-class venue.
• At Westpac Stadium: Wellington Firebirds host the Otago Volts in the first ever first-class match at the Stadium
• At Hamilton's Seddon Park: Northern Districts host the Central Stags, with quick Adam Milne back for the Stags for the first time this summer
• At Auckland's Eden Park: Auckland Aces host Canterbury, setting up an exciting showdown between BLACKCAPS Mitch McClenaghan and Matt Henry

4.30pm-4.50pm = tea break (not ‘lunch’)
Second session
4.50pm-6.50pm
6.50pm-7.30pm = dinner break (not ‘tea’)
Third session
7.30pm-9.30pm
NOTES
• The matches will consist of 97 scheduled overs in the day as normal.
• In the event that extra overs may be taken in the day, play may continue until 10pm only.
• Any lost time will be made up on the following day prior to the scheduled start of play.
