New Zealand Cricket (NZC) congratulated Brian Aldridge for receiving the The Queen’s Service Medal (QSM) in the 2012 New Year’s honours list.
Brian made an outstanding contribution to cricket during his time with NZC as a respected international umpire and then during his 11 year role as National Umpire Manager.
During his time with NZC he actively supported the ICC’s development of umpires in the East Asia Pacific region and is well respected both within New Zealand and internationally for his services to umpiring.
