Notts continue on winning way

New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming helped set up his Nottinghamshire side for a seven-wicket victory in the latest round of Twenty20 games in England today.

Derbyshire was all out for 128 in the last over of its innings when batting first.

Fleming and Graham Swann opened the chase for Nottinghamshire and put on 74 before Swann fell for 40. Earlier he took 3-16 in the Derbyshire innings.

Fleming hit 40 before falling to a catch in the deep.

Gloucestershire had a 27-run win over Somerset.

Craig Spearman hit 63 off 32 balls to give Gloucestershire a flying start.

Northamptonshire had a 14-run win over Glamorgan.

Batting first Northamptonshire made 174 with James Franklin going wicketless for 24 runs from his four overs.

Glamorgan, with Brendon McCullum smashing 40 off 15 balls, including four fours and two sixes, made a lightning start. Down the order Franklin hit 24 off 15 balls as well.

Middlesex was dismissed for 115 in its innings with Scott Styris scoring 21 off nine balls.

Surrey was relatively untroubled to reach 116 for the loss of three wickets with Styris taking 0-15 from his three overs.

Essex dismissed Kent for 157 with Andre Adams taking 1-29 from his four overs.

In the Essex response, Adams was promoted to No.3 in the order and hit 21 runs from nine balls as Essex was 101-2 in the 11th over.
