New Zealand to host DCIF World Cup

New Zealand will host the Deaf Cricket International Federation World Cup in 2009.

The event will be the third of its kind, with world champion India hoping to defend its crown.

They will face the hosts and teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Zimbabwe and West Indies may also participate for the first time.

The tournament will start in December 2009 and take place in either Auckland or Christchurch.
