New Zealand Cricket has appointed board member Greg Barclay to be the representative on the board of Cricket World Cup 2015.
Barclay replaces former NZC chair Chris Moller who has been invited to stay on the CWC 2015 board as an independent advisor.
In other board news, at last week’s NZC Annual General Meeting it was agreed to pay the NZC board members.
The AGM approved a recommendation by the Appointments Panel, headed by NZC President Stephen Boock and comprising three Major Association chairs and a Sport New Zealand representative, to provide a funding pool of $180,000 per year to pay the eight board members including chair Stuart Heal. The payments start from 1 November.
