Moller replaces Isaac as NZC Chairman

New Zealand Cricket announced that Chris Moller has been elected to replace outgoing Chairman Alan Isaac.

Isaac stepped down after two years as Chairman and 20 years on the board to take up the position of ICC Vice-President.

Moller has been a New Zealand Cricket board member since September 2008, having previously held roles of NZRFU CEO and Fonterra Co-operative Deputy Chief Executive.

As chairman he will be New Zealand’s delegate to the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board.

"I thank the NZC board for having chosen me to represent them as chairman," said Moller.

"I am determined to work closely with our players, administrators, volunteers and commercial partners to drive the game forward in New Zealand."

Moller praised Isaac for his very significant contribution to New Zealand Cricket and said that: “Alan is held in high esteem throughout the cricketing world and his reputation as a hard-working, no-nonsense individual will be invaluable in his position as ICC Vice President.  I wish him all the best in his new role.”
