This is a quick message to give all those supporters and stakeholders of New Zealand Cricket a status update following last week’s Christchurch earthquake.
It has been a tremendously stressful time for everyone in Christchurch but thankfully all our staff and their immediate family were unhurt in the earthquake.
We are currently working through plans to get New Zealand Cricket fully operational again and are looking to set up our offices at Lincoln University in the very near future.
There are a number of issues that need to be considered over the coming weeks, but some immediate decisions regarding changes to the scheduling of Plunket Shield games have already been made as a direct consequence of last week’s events. For further information on this rescheduling, please see the media release which is also on this website.
It is anticipated that our email communication will be re-established next week. In the meantime if there are any urgent calls or issues please contact New Zealand Cricket on 03 366 2964.
