Pace bowler Glenn McGrath looks set to return to the Australian team in time for the much anticipated Ashes series starting in November.
McGrath took leave from the game when wife Jane was diagnosed with cancer for the third time in February, but is looking forward to a return with his wife "very close to being back to 100 per cent".[1].jpg)
"I'm ready to go now, I'm back into training," he told the Daily Telegraph.
"I've had a good break and my wife's going really well so it's always a good sign when she wants me back playing or wants me out of the house - that means she's getting back to 100 per cent."
McGrath will be hoping to make a return to the team when they travel to India for the ICC Champions Trophy.
