Lara frustrated

West Indies skipper Brian Lara is pleased with his team's performance in the third Test against India in St Kitts, but is frustrated with another draw.

The series is still tied at 0-0 and will go down to the final Test in Jamaica.

"I am very proud of the way the guys played," he told AFP.

"Chris Gayle and Daren Ganga set us up at the beginning of the match with a solid opening partnership, and Ramnaresh Sarwan got a hundred which was good."

"In Antigua and St Lucia, India could not get us out, and now in this Test, we could not get India out," he said.

"There were a few testing moments, but it was an intriguing Test and we have move on to the final match in Jamaica now."

Lara admitted the beginning of the third Test saw some good cricket, but it neither team could go the distance.

"It was really exciting cricket for us over the first two or three days," he said.

"We knew we were in a good position in which we could force a win and, unfortunately, this did not happen, but we were in front and we stayed in front for the majority of the match."
