Wellington College 196-5 off 40 overs (O Dry 58, N Wallace 5-8) beat John McGlashan College 66 all out off 24.1 overs (H McDonald 24, Z Cunningham 4-40), Fitzherbert Park 1
Wellington College extended their win streak to three today against John McGlashan College. Batting first, WC got off to a positive start thanks to a half-century from opener Oscar Dry (58), with assistance from no. 3 batter Arlo Fisher (28). The two put on 72 runs for the second wicket, solid contributions from the middle order pushing the total to an impressive 196-5 off 40 overs. Zac Cunningham (4-40) was the pick of the John McGlashan bowlers, fighting hard for 4 wickets off his eight overs. JMC got off to a flier in response, Harry McDonald (24) taking 16 runs off the second over before being dismissed in the seventh over. Regular wickets from that point on kept WC firmly in front - Nick Wallace (5-11) picking up the maiden 5-wicket haul of this year’s tournament, all but securing victory for his team. Oscar Dry (3-11) capped off a fantastic day with three wickets of his own.

Auckland Grammar School 149 all out off 39.3 overs (N Mackay 35, J Burt 3-12) beat St Andrew’s College 104 all out off 36.3 overs (S Hair 32, W Wiffin-Lal 2-10), Fitzherbert Park 1
Auckland Grammar School join Wellington College at the top of the table, following another victory today against St Andrew’s College. Batting first, AGS relied on a team effort to get through to a competitive total. Noah Mackay (35) again top scored for his side, with five other batters scoring in double-figures to support. STAC’s bowling effort also relied on a team effort – four bowlers picking up 2 wickets apiece, the most economical being William Wiffin-Lal (2-10). STAC fought hard in response through wicket-keeper-bat Sam Hair (35), who dug in to give his side a chance. Unfortunately for the Cantabrians, wickets fell consistently at the other end thanks to strong spells from Jacob Burt (3-12) and Joel Monk (3-28) - STAC eventually bowled out in the 37th over, 45 runs short.
Napier Boys’ High School 168-8 off 40 overs (L McNally 36, O Stafford 5-23) beat Tauranga Boys’ College 134-10 off 38.2 overs (A Lucas 34, C Manning 2-19), Manawaroa Park
Napier Boys’ secured their second win of tournament thanks to an outstanding individual performance with the ball from Ollie Stafford (5-23), who picked up the second 5-wicket haul of the tournament. NBHS set up the win earlier in the day with two 50+ run partnerships between Cooper Onekawa (19) and Carter Pirie (24), as well as Luke McNally (36) and Bradley Pearce (29). Tauranga Boys’ worked hard to keep the runs down, Ciarán Manning (2-19) and Ben McKinlay (2-17) the pick of TBC’s bowlers. In the NBHS bowling innings, Ollie Stafford’s bowling took center stage – claiming the second wicket of the innings, as well as the final four wickets to secure a win and a 5-fa. Ashton Lucas (34) and Cameron Unwin (31) kept TBC in the game with valuable contributions, but the NBHS bowling unit could not be stopped – eventually bowling TBC out in the 39th over, 34 runs short.
