The final round of the State League Twenty/20 gets underway this afternoon across the country.
A lot depends on the last round with the top two teams qualifying for the final on January 24.
State Northern Spirit vs State Auckland Hearts - Cobham Oval, Whangarei
State Central Hinds vs State Otago Sparks - Fitzherbert Park, Palmerston North
State Wellington Blaze vs State Canterbury Magicians - Trentham Memorial Park, Wgtn
The State Canterbury Magicians meet the State Wellington Blaze in a top of the table clash that will determine who hosts the final.
It will be a tough task for the Magicians who face a Blaze team have been running red hot this year and are yet to lose a Twenty20 encounter. To make the challenge even tougher, Canterbury are without their premier batsman and captain Haidee Tiffen.
The State Central Hinds have also got an eye on a finals berth as they do battle against bottom placed State Otago Sparks.
The remaining fixture sees the State Northern Spirit and State Auckland hearts battle it out for the minor places.
Players in all teams will also be looking to showcase their talent ahead of Saturdays White Ferns team announcement for the Rose Bowl series and Womens World Cup.
