England paceman James Anderson has taken four wickets to help his side to a narrow six-run win over Pakistan in the fifth and final One Day International.
Despite the positive result, it was a case of too little too late for the visitors with Pakistan claiming the five match series 3-2.
England, who won the first match, scraped a paltry 9-206 from its 50 overs but triumphed after restricting the hosts to 9-200 at the end of play.
England, on the back of its Ashes win over Australia, earlier lost the three-Test series 2-0, and had lost three consecutive ODI matches to Pakistan before the win.
Chasing the modest target, Pakistan lost openers Salman Butt (six) and Kamran Akmal (11) within seven overs.

The gritty partnership yielded 101 and brought Pakistan within 85 runs of victory before England hit back, claiming eight wickets in the space of 78 runs.
Vikram Solanki proved to be the pick of the England batters, top-scoring with a well-played 49.
However, it was a late-order charge by Liam Plunkett, the tail-ender hitting three boundaries and a six in his 12-ball 24 to take England past the crucial 200 mark.
