The famous Auckland based sporting ground has had a facelift over the last two years and now it will be open to the public.
Sports fans have been eagerly anticipating the new look and now have a chance to see the new look stadium up close at the free public open day on October 10.
The Eden Park redevelopment started in 2008, with $240 million set aside to ensure the iconic ground remains a world class sporting facility. New seating and access to the ground was a major part of the makeover.
The first international cricket game to be held at completed stadium will be a Twenty20 match on Boxing Day between the BLACKCAPS and Pakistan. Tickets for the game will go on sale in early November.
