The Cook Islands Cricket Association (CICA) are continuing to develop their sporting resources, as they seek cricket professionals to assist in their new Coaches Scholarship Programme.
The area has taken a number of steps to improving awareness and participation of cricket and despite limited funding, the CICA are confident they can supply local talent with ways to progress their skills.
Cook Islands cricket would love to bring experts to the region, but admit that may not be feasible. They have however found an alternative - SKYPE
It’s an initiative which many think could see the nation’s cricket develop rapidly and the CICA are now calling upon professionals from around the world to help out in its cause.
