Bradley Scott reverses decision and will stay with Kngihts

Bradley Scott has declined the Domestic Contract offered to him by Otago Cricket citing family reasons for his change of mind. He will stay in Hamilton for the coming season and play his cricket for Northern Districts.

Otago Cricket CEO, Ross Dykes, says, “It is a surprise and somewhat disappointing given that it was Bradley who initiated the move south.  However, I well appreciate that family life must take precedence over sport and we wish Bradley, Jennie and their two girls well.  Families are forever where cricket careers can be short and fickle.

Fortunately, the Volts will lose nothing in the bowling stakes as we have three very effective seam bowlers who were all deemed unlucky to miss out on the first round of contracts and who will all be breaking their necks to play for Otago.”
