The BLACKCAPS’ Chappell-Hadlee Series clean sweep has propelled them back into third place in the ICC ODI Championship.
The 3-0 home victory left Australia in second place, with South Africa moving into first place for the first time/
The series also saw individual BLACKCAPS prosper after a number of excellent performances.
Stephen Fleming moved four places in the batting ranking to 24, Peter Fulton and Craig McMillan share 43rd position and Ross Taylor (49th) joins his team mates in the top 50.
In the bowling charts, Daniel Vettori is fourth and Shane Bond sixth, with Mark Gillespie the biggest mover, up 27 places to 62nd.
Australia's Chappell-Hadlee Series captain Michael Hussey remains top of the batting rankings, while South Africa's Shaun Pollock is the leading bowler.
