Rowey a revelation

Returning to the side after a successful World Cup debut Hannah Rowe once again found form early. The Manawatu product impressing with the new ball. Rowe's dismissal of Mandhana particularly turning heads. The 20-year-old helped have India in a tough early spot at 2-21.

The great Raj
The women’s all time ODI leading run scorer was at her majestic best in Derby. She first revived her side’s batting effort and together with Veda Krishnamurthy (70 off 45) powered them to a competitive total. The records keep coming for the Indian maestro who notched up her 50th half century in ODIs, the first woman cricketer to reach this milestone in the history of the game. All class.

Top off
If the WHITE FERNS were to chase down the challenging target they were going to need a good start – they didn’t get it. Only two of the side's top four were able to pass double figures as batting momentum faltered early.

Downhill

Only Amy Satterthwaite was able to work a start in the batting order as the side struggled to get the chase going and pull momentum away from India. They simply couldn't stop the regular fall of wickets and India were able to chip the entire line up out in 26 overs.
