Many a milestone for Williamson

BLACKCAPS Skipper Kane Williamson wrote himself into the history books on day two in Bulawayo, becoming the 13th player and first New Zealander to score a century against all Test playing nations.

Match report

A day before his 26th birthday, Williamson made 113 in the second Test against Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club, bringing up his 14th career Test ton and one with special significance for a host of reasons.

Playing in his 50th Test, the century represented his first as skipper, his first against Zimbabwe and also helped take his career average beyond 50.

Most remarkable though is the company Williamson finds himself amongst, who have recorded centuries against all nations.

Featuring legends of the game such as Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, Williamson became the fastest and the youngest player to reach the milestone.
