Watch this space. Well and truly back after an absence of some two years due to health issues, Northern Districts opener Bernadine Bezuidenhout dominated the attack of defending champions the Otago Sparks in a race against impending rain.
The weather won, but not before the former WHITE FERN impressed with a scintillating century in the Northland humidity, the right-hander finishing with 163 runs from the weekend's twin rounds after backing up Saturday's unbeaten 62* with 101 on Sunday.
Northern posted a formidable total of 308-4 in 45.3 overs against the Sparks, sharing a big opening stand with Caitlin Gurrey (87) before Chloe Deerness broke through at 164/1 in the second round one-dayer.
Rain sadly prevented a second innings, meaning the points would be shared.
