A strong start by the opening pair saw a good foundation laid for Palmerston North, captain Tom O’Connor making his way to 55 runs before being dismissed.

Isaac Harris was one of a few to make important runs down the order, hitting 26 and helping his side reach a competitive total of 189 all out.

Ravindu Pathirana had a great spell for Hamilton Boys’, picking up figures of 2-13.

Hamilton Boys’ opening batsman Cullen Aislabie enjoyed a terrific innings, scoring 75 and helping his side to a relatively comfortable win.

Stephen Sistern-Tate also batted well for 37.

Isaac Harris had an impressive day with the ball, picking up 3-32. Hamilton Boys’ finished the game with a four-wicket win.
