BLACKCAPS face must-win match after Sri Lanka crush India

Sri Lanka have booked a spot in the tri-series final after massive win over Indian in Dambulla.

India could only muster 103 in 33.4 overs after opting to bat with Sri Lankan seamer Thisara Perera taking five for 28.

In reply, Mahela Jayawardene (33) and Tillarkartne Dilshan (35) put on 79 for the first wicket to make short work of the run chase as Sri Lanka reached their target after 15.1 overs with eight wickets in hand.

The win puts Sri Lanka on top of the table meaning that Wednesday’s fixture between the BLACKCAPS and India is a knockout match with the winner going through to the final.
