With demand for tickets to the 2007 Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean expected to be off the charts, concerns have risen regarding the availability of accommodation for fans.
According to tournament director Chris Dehring a number of fans are likely to have nowhere to stay.
"We will never satisfy 100% of that demand - no world games can," he told the BBC.
"But we will certainly be satisfying a reasonable amount. I would advise everybody to book early."
Up to 100,000 fans are expected to embark upon the Caribbean for the prestigious tournament.
Home owners are also being encouraged to join a bed and breakfast home stay programme, while cruise ships are being chartered in Jamaica and Barbados.
"The Caribbean is already a destination of choice," Dehring said.
"And when you add the Cricket World Cup you're obviously going to have an incredible amount of demand."
The World Cup begins on March 13 in Jamaica, with the final in Barbados on April 28.
