North Island wrapped up the North v South Twenty20 series with a seven wicket win in warm conditions at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln.
The tightly fought series was tied up at one-all overnight with South winning the toss and electing to bat in the decider.
Sarah Tsukigawa continued her fine form, hitting five boundaries and six in her 28 ball 37 as she put on 56 for the for the first wicket with opening partner Krista Neilson who struck 22.
Suzie Bates, who opened the batting earlier in the series, came in a number four and made 35 off 33 balls as South made a par score of 130 for seven.
Spinner Lucy Doolan and pace bowler Nic Browne took two wickets apiece. North were aided by some outstanding fielding with two sensational outfield catches by Browne and Rachel Candy helping restrict South.
In reply, North got off to a blistering start with captain Aimee Watkins and opening partner Natalie Dodd pounding 110 in 11.3 overs.
Dodd was the first to go, caught and bowled by Satterthwaite for 42 from 38 balls.
Devine came and went quickly, as did Liz Perry but any thoughts of a collapse were dispelled by Watkins who guided her team to victory with 3.4 overs to spare.
Watkins was at her very best, smashing an unbeaten 71 off 40 deliveries in a sparkling innings that included eight fours and three big sixes.
