Watch the newest BLACKCAP in action and get free tickets!

Newest BLACKCAP Andrew McKay will be in Rangiora today, playing for the Wellington Firebirds against home side the Canterbury Wizards.

This is the first chance for the public to get up close and see the new BLACKCAP in action and -  and if you are one of the first 500 paying customers through the gate  - you will get a free ticket to see the BLACKCAPS play Bangladesh in the ODI at AMI Stadium in February.

McKay was named in the BLACKCAPS yesterday and he is excited about representing the country at his chosen sport. The left-arm pace bowler is out to prove his stuff tonight at MainPower Oval in Rangiora alongside BLACKCAPS James Franklin and Jeetan Patel, as well as international superstar Owais Shah.

Expect plenty of spirit in this clash as both teams battle to avoid the competition wooden spoon. Despite their results to date, the Wizards are full of spirit and are desperate to finish the competition on a good note. New captain Peter Fulton will be leading the southern men, and he’ll be looking to Chris Martin, Rob Nicol and Craig McMillan to kick-start the team’s drive to final-round victory.

Tickets are only $15 for adults, $5 for kids and $35 for the family, so it’s a great opportunity to pack a picnic and get the kids out of your hair for three hours. And for that price who would pass up the opportunity to meet the latest BLACKCAPS, get free tickets to an international game and watch the last exciting round of the HRV Cup?
