Warne found not guilty of dissent

Australia spinner Shane Warne has been found not guilty of dissent following a hearing in Adelaide.

Test veteran Warne was reported for an incident which occurred during the third Test against the West Indies at the Adelaide Oval.

The incident took place in the twenty-first over of the West Indies’ second innings when an appeal for a catch off Warne's bowling was turned down.

Test veteran Warne was accompanied at the hearing by Australian team manager Steve Bernard captain Ricky Ponting.

ICC Match Referee Mike Procter chaired a panel which included the other officials who stood in Adelaide, match umpires Billy Bowden of New Zealand and Aleem Dar and third umpire Steve Davis.
