New Zealand Cricket today announced that Daniel Vettori is unavailable for the today’s Super 8 match against the West Indies in Pallekele.
Vettori complained of soreness of his left Achilles after the match against England with a fitness test earlier today ruling him out.
More will be known about his availability for future matches after further rest and assessment.
Jacob Oram, who missed the last match due to a stomach bug, has fully recovered and is available for selection.
