The White Ferns had some surprise visitors at their first training down in the deep south of Invercargill - three Southern Steel players.
The Steel get their ANZ Championship underway on Sunday with a game against the Queensland Firebirds, but there was enough time for stars Wendy Frew, Jhaniele Fowler-Reid and Phoenix Karaka to take on some of the White Ferns in the nets.
