Southee returns for GJ Gardner Homes Test in Hamilton

Tim Southee will return to the BLACKCAPS squad for the second GJ Gardner Homes Test match in Hamilton on Saturday, replacing George Worker in the squad.

Southee was unavailable to play in the BLACKCAPS victory in Wellington due to the birth of his child. He will now join the team in Hamilton tomorrow when they assemble.

Both George Worker and Lockie Ferguson were released from the squad to play Ford Trophy tomorrow, though Ferguson will rejoin the BLACKCAPS squad following the match.

BJ Watling, who is yet to take the gloves for Northern Districts, continues to work towards full fitness and will not be considered for the match.
