Conditions in Napier have again forced an abandonment of play in the third and final National Bank Test.
The BLACKCAPS and the West Indies will sit out day four after McLean Park was deemed unplayable due to a wet outfield and continuing rain.
The visitors compiled 256 for four in their first innings, having been put into bat, before play ended early on Sunday, the second day of the Test.
The BLACKCAPS lead the series 2-0.
