Surrey held out for a draw in the rain affected four day County Championship Division Two match against a spirited Gloucestershire team. Current BLACKCAP James Franklin was proving a handful from the Vauxhall End and had the best return for Gloucestershire with three for 23. Former BLACKCAP Craig Spearman was out for a duck with Hamish Marshall hitting 76. Grant Elliott did not play in the match.
