Please find below the New Zealand XI squad that will play Ireland at Seddon Park, Hamilton from 2pm Saturday 18 October. Twelve will play in the warm-up match, and the captain will be decided on the day.
Not considered for the match were batsmen Ross Taylor (left calf) and Kane Williamson (left wrist) as well as bowlers Tim Southee (shoulder) and Adam Milne (elbow). Southee is expected to be fit for the ANZ ODI Series v South Africa starting on Tuesday, while Taylor and Milne will miss that series. Williamson will miss the first match of the series and be assessed early next week.
The squad for Tuesday’s opening match in the ANZ ODI Series will be named on Sunday.
