The National Bank, a major sponsor of Cricket in New Zealand, set a task to all the employees – recreate a cricket game in the branch and win an evening with some BLACKCAPS.
The bank sent out 180 cricket sets to the branches around the country and Joe Consedine, the National Bank spokesperson, said they had a wonderful amount of participation. “We had a fantastic response with lots of branches going to great effort to get the perfect shot,” he said.
The National Bank Levin Branch, which only has female employees, was the winner and on Friday April 30 the staff had the pleasure of hosting Grant Elliott and Jeetan Patel. “They went all out with their props to create a fantastic shot,” Consedine said. “The Levin Branch had a great evening chatting to the boys and getting autographs. Jeetan and Grant were very impressed with the winning photo!”
Consedine said the ladies from Levin were thrilled to have hosted the BLACKCAPS. “We are huge supporters of cricket and they said it was fantastic meeting the boys. They had a wonderful time and it really boosted the morale within the office. The National Bank wishes the BLACKCAPS all the best for next season.”
