Another step in the domestic cricket review consultation was completed on 11 June 2014, with the New Zealand Cricket Player's Association, Major Association (MA) Chairmen and Chief Executives meeting with New Zealand Cricket (NZC) at Eden Park to discuss the recommendations in NZC's Review of the Administration and Delivery of Domestic Cricket paper.
NZC General Manager Domestic Cricket David Cooper said: "There was a constructive and wide ranging discussion of all the issues on the table, and broad agreement on where things go from here. The paper is still a work in progress, but we're making good headway towards finalizing recommendations."
"The goal of the review is changing domestic cricket for the better and creating better commercial, high performance and entertainment outcomes," said David Cooper.
From here, the NZCPA and MA's will take the issues discussed back to their boards for another consultation and feedback round before a final set of recommendations are agreed in four to six weeks' time.
