The last two places at CWC 2015 are being decided in a unique cricket tournament that's on right now.

Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014 is here

The battle is on to find the last two teams to play in Cricket World Cup 2015 - and it's happening right in your backyard. Teams from all over the world are in New Zealand to play the Cricket World Cup Qualifying Tournament 2014, aiming to join Ireland and Afghanistan as the last two qualifiers for CWC 2015.

The ten sides playing have been divided into two round robin pools, with the top three from each forming a super six group. The grand final is at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln on 1 February 2014 (here's the full process for CWC2015 qualification). The teams are based in North and South Island hubs through the round robin matches, with games being played in New Plymouth, Mount Maunganui, Christchurch, Lincoln and Queenstown.

Teams to watch will include pre-tournament favourites the Netherlands as well as Canada, who've qualified for the last three World Cups. There's a few familiar names involved, with 2007 qualifiers Scotland being coached by England's Paul Collingwood, and ex-Test player Geraint Jones turning out for Papua New Guinea, while BLACKCAPS coach Mike Hesson has supplied local knowledge to Kenya, who he coached from 2011-12.

With so much at stake, there will be some top quality cricket to enjoy. All the games are free to enter - here's the full tournament schedule and if you can't get to a match, follow scores at blackcaps.co.nz and CWC 2015's site.

Get involved - it's a great chance to get to know and support countries and players from right around the cricket world as well as a great warm up for Cricket World Cup 2015. They're also determined to enjoy themselves while they're here, going by this video!

Many of the teams are on Twitter, so give them a follow to check what they're up to around New Zealand.
