The BLACKCAPS batsmen and Trent Boult got a valuable hit-out over two and a half sessions against the Victoria XI in Sunday’s warm-up game at Scotch College in Melbourne.
Having been confirmed to open the batting in the Boxing Day Test, Wellingtonian Tom Blundell took his opportunity at the top of the order scoring a polished 57 not-out before retiring before lunch.

Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor and BJ Watling all looked in good touch registering not-out scores as the BLACKCAPS finished the one-day warm-up at 258-3.
Trent Boult got a run for the home side, bowling eleven overs for 23 runs and picking up the wicket of Tom Latham.
