The BLACKCAPS will face South Africa and Pakistan in Group B of the ICC Champions Trophy in India later this year.
The team sealed qualification with series victories over Sri Lanka and the West Indies this season.
And the BLACKCAPS may face one of these teams again after both were named in a preliminary play-off with Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
The top two teams from this round robin first round will join the top six sides from the ICC Rankings in the second round.
The top two sides from each group will progress to the semi-finals with the winners of these matches contesting the final on 5 November.
The full tournament schedule is expected to be announced later this month.
