Another warm-up win for the White Ferns

The White Ferns enjoyed a comfortable 193-run win over New Zealand A in their second warm-up match at Lincoln ahead of the One-Day International series against India.

Maria Fahey, Suzie Bates and Sara McGlashan all hit half-centuries as they posted 317 for seven, while Nicola Browne struck 41 before taking two wickets in her first over with the ball.

An opening partnership of 69 between Fahey (52) and Rebecca Rolls (43) paved the way for a series of strong stands.

Fahey and Bates added 58 for second wicket and a century pairing between McGlashan and Browne for the sixth before both batsmen retired.

Browne’s wickets ensured a poor start for NZ A, reducing them to 3/3. Captain Rowan Milburn shared stands of 30 with Amy Satterthwaite and 42 with Beth McNeill, by they were eventually removed for 124.

Browne ended the innings with three wickets, with Louise Milliken and Anna Dodd claiming two each.
