Wizards win off penultimate ball

Todd Astle smacked a four off the second to last ball as the State Canterbury Wizards beat the State Auckland Aces by two wickets at the Eden Park Outer Oval.

Auckland’s hero from their previous State Twenty20 match, Luke Vivian, hit three massive sixes in his 30.

The Wizards chase was slow to get going but Shannan Stewart accelerated the scoring with 36 off 26.
