New Zealand A have beaten Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the second four-day match to take a one-nil lead in the best of three series in Harare.
New Zealand piled on 526 in the first inning largely thanks to 115 from Jamie How and 100 not out from Hopkins.
Captain James Franklin then tore through the Zimbabwean batting line up, taking five for 22. Fellow fast bowler Chris Martin was also in good form, picking up four for 46.
Timycen Maruma (62*) and Malcolm Waller (53) were only players to make an impression as Zimbabwe were bundled out for 256.
They were sent back into bat and only managed an 18 runs lead with Brent Arnell ripping through the line up. The tall right-arm quick ripped out eight of batsmen in remarkable display of seam bowling to record career best figures.
The New Zealand openers wrapped up the match on day four with openers Tim McIntosh and How polishing off the 18 runs required.
The third and final match of the series begins on Thursday 21 October in Harare.

A century from Jamie How capped a great first day for New Zealand A in their second four-day match against Zimbabwe in Harare.
Along with Tim McIntosh, How put on 160 for the first wicket with McIntosh the first to go for 58.
How went on to strike a brilliant 115 in a stroke filled innings that included 15 boundaries and three sixes.
New Zealand A will resume on day two with captain James Franklin on 44* and Reece Young 33*.
